Welcome to Missionary Legacy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

The service

Missionary Legacy is a private archive that gathers a missionary’s letters, photos, and memories and helps compose them into a biography book. Features are provided on an ongoing, evolving basis.

Your account

• You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login secure.
• Family admins are responsible for who they invite and the access they grant.
• You agree to use the service lawfully and only for archives you have the right to create.

Your content

You own your content. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it for the sole purpose of providing the service to you — for example, summarizing letters, transcribing voice memos, and assembling the book. We claim no ownership of your family’s memories.

AI-assisted content

The biography is assembled with AI assistance and grounded in the source material you provide. While we work hard to keep it faithful and free of invention, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the book before printing or sharing it.

Billing

During the beta, the service is provided free of charge. When paid plans are introduced, pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly before any charge, and each mission archive is billed as its own subscription.

Termination

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your archive at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used abusively.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Missionary Legacy disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
